Composer and pianist Ayça Akin has over a decade of training in classical piano performance and studied orchestral composition under composer Leon WIllett.
Acclaimed for her musicality by her teachers, Akin drives her strong emotional intuition into her compositions and film scores.
Akin’s music is influenced by neoclassical and minimalist composers and a variety of electronic music genres. Akin produces and publishes her own music under the artist name Ahda, and composes for film and orchestra.
Akin is a member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.
